What is Machinery Twin?

A digital twin studio for industrial machinery, simulate your machine in 3D, then connect it live to your PLC.

Machinery Twin lets you build an interactive 3D twin of an industrial machine, drive it with simulated motion, and then connect it live to a real PLC, so you can test and commission machine software before the first bolt is tightened, or monitor and debug a machine without physical access.

What you can do with it

  • Import your CAD, GLB, STEP/IGES and FBX models, with an automatic simplifier for heavy geometry.
  • Configure kinematics without code, slider-cranks, four-bar and five-bar linkages, path followers, and DH-parameter robot arms with built-in inverse kinematics.
  • Drive everything with variables, position, rotation, scale, color and visibility all bind to computed variables: constants, functions, motion cam profiles, or state machines.
  • Simulate offline, a full simulation mode validates motion and timing with no hardware attached.
  • Connect live, Siemens S7, Beckhoff TwinCAT (ADS) and OPC UA connections stream PLC values straight into the scene.

PLC connectivity and the browser

The 3D editor and simulation run entirely in your browser. Talking to a PLC requires the Windows PLC Connector, which runs locally beside the browser. See Connectivity overview for how the pieces fit.
