Guest mode vs signed in
What works without an account, what remains local, and how to transfer work safely.
Guest mode
Choose Continue as guest on the loading screen. The full editor opens without an account under the free-tier limits. Guest projects are stored only in the current browser profile.
Signed in
Signing in identifies your account and enables plan entitlements, but it does not upload or merge projects. Signed-in and guest storage stay isolated so an account change cannot overwrite the workspace you were using.
To move work between them, export the project archive from its original workspace, switch account mode, then import that archive. Keep exports for anything you cannot recreate. If startup recovery reports a storage problem, use its Retry action before creating or saving a new project.
| Workspace | Storage | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Guest | Current browser profile | Free |
| Signed in, no purchase | Current browser profile | Free |
| Signed in, paid plan | Current browser profile | Your plan |
There is no cloud project save. Use export/import for transfer and backup.
